Visa Check Card (also know as the Visa Debit card)
Like a credit card, the Visa Check Card permits the holder to make purchases anywhere the Visa Card is accepted, with the charge being made directly to the holder’s checking account rather than as a credit transaction. Additionally, it is also an access card to tens of thousands of automated teller machines (ATM) across the nation. At these terminals, the cardholder may make balance inquiries, withdraw cash, make deposits, transfer funds between accounts or make purchases at participating merchants.

The Visa Check Card may be used at any business establishment accepting Visa credit cards. Cash or checks may be deposited at ATMs. Balance inquiries or funds transfers may be made between accounts at Freehold Savings. This is a fast and convenient way to access information on your Freehold Savings accounts by telephone. Using Bank-by-Phone Banking, you can access balance or transaction history on checking accounts, savings accounts or loans, as well as make transfers between certain accounts. Access is simple and is available from anywhere, by means of a touch tone telephone and the account password.
